    I'm a 30-something Mom of four kids, an avid reader of all genres, but especially fantasy and for the last 4 years obsessively of Harry Potter. I like roleplaying, and have played AD&D for years. For me, role-playing is another way of bringing a story 'to life'. The Homepage link takes you to my own website. Please check it out! The universal flaw I have found in my search for a good Harry Potter role-playing game is that they are almost all own/run/administrated by college-aged young-adults or younger. As we all know, that is a very exciting but transient time in our lives when there are frequent major life-changes going on. Often these other games would just start 'getting good'... and the game would die because the owner/admin had things come up that made continuing impossible for them. I am a person who really likes to delve into the 'game world' and character development when I role-play, so this was always frustrating to me to say the least! Thankfully, I found two other like-minded friends willing to help me, one of whom is very good at doing website stuff, so I have to credit Kirasha Silverpen with the website design after I told her what I had in mind. We have three administrators ranging in age from 27 to 37, and we aren't going anywhere! To the best of my knowledge, this one of the few role-playing games run by adults with a good focus on the adult and wider-world settings in the Harry Potter Universe without being a thinly veiled "smut" site. (Not that we have a problem with smut, but there are many other ways to stretch the imagination as well!) We do have a Hogwarts, of course, and many students. But we also actively welcome and encourage adult characters, canon or original, with 'real lives' in the world outside of Hogwarts. It's a fun way to explore what "average" people might do in the wizarding world. We have a fairly straight-forward screening process that ensures we get quality players with a good understanding of canon. My obsession/lust/fetish/compulsion with everything Severus is beginning to border on the pathological, so that my hubby fears I may soon require psychiatric intervention.
