    Legend says that once long ago I was born.  In the dark times before memory I was a lowely infant but soon I managed to work my way to a promotion to toddler.  Then the bright and wonderful days began and I become a child but all good things must come to an end and the darkness fell, I became a teenager.  After a certain number of years of toil I shed the yoke of teenagedom and rose in the ranks to become a young adult.  Then before I even knew it I was thrust into full adulthood.  This lasted twice as long as all my other jobs and became my career!  Soon I shall become middle aged and go through some kind of crisis.  Then I'll become elderly and finally I shall die. (The latter needs to be fact checked)
