I Have been reading Fanfiction stories for a couple of years now, never written one, but since I am going to write one ( The Dark Lord threatened to crucio me if I did not listen to him...) I decided to update my profile and let you know what I think. 
You will have to excuse any grammatical or spelling errors, English is not my mother-language.

I am a sucker for Lord Voldemort / Hermione Granger ship. I think I have read every single story on the adultfanfiction, and fanfiction, pertaining to this ship !

Thank you Sepent in Red, Lady Mia, Nerys, Serpenssortia, Uchiha, Dax,  Roadkill2580 and many others that I am unable to remember right now for your wonderful amazingly well written stories. I hope You will continue the WIP ones ?? :) ( Hint hint )

The Dark Lord Character is simply Otherworldly. He is intelligent, and Powerful, a HEADY combination for us Mortal beings. (IMHO) He’s Cunning, resourceful, manipulative, he is cruel and sadistic as well, and sooo HOT !

On the other hand, I was also disappointed by many other writers and stories that really Massacred The Dark Lord Character, by either making him so mind numbingly Out of Character, Fluffy and totally nauseatingly sweet or turning Good and Light and almost Bunny-like Cuddly, OR simply a Barbarian and savage, brutal, cruel, and violent, hell bent on Gore and blood, with no rime or reason, just because He is The Dark Lord, as if by this title alone all those acts are a given, and there's simply one dimension to him, or a pattern cut in cardboard, so flat that whether he's in the story or not changes nothing to it !!

I stopped reading those stories altogether. 

I simply cannot compute how the MOST POWERFUL wizard ( Dark or otherwise) who STUDIED and USED Dark arts, was one of the most Brilliant Students at Hogwarts  being portrayed at the same time as the savage  he is "supposed" to be, in some of those stories!  We all know what an uncultured person, or one who has no sympathy with literary culture acts like, where all the scholarly knowledge went ??

The Dark Lord wanted Power,  ( By nurture or nature ?? Alas JK Rowling was ambiguous and all the memories pertaining to his childhood and teen years were second hand and through pensieves …?? If I remember the books correctly )

Some might argue that by following the Dark Arts, he lost his humanity, ( aside from not being able to feel Love ) but logically, if one is   not ruled by emotions, with such an arsenal of  knowledge then one is more prone to be level-headed and calm when making decisions, and taking actions, Hence the Dark Arts become the means to an End.( Ruling the world...) and the emotional deficiency an asset.

On another level, cruciating his followers for a yes or a no, will not motivate anyone to become a follower now, would it ??

And Being Manipulative and Intelligent, and charismatic just clashes totally with the definition of Being Violent, and hell bent on Torture, for the sake of it. I can understand Torture as a means for him getting information, being Bigoted and scheming to end muggle-borns, and rule the world, but the Dark Lord we know ( or as i understand his character ) is first and foremost INTELLIGENT and Rational, A brilliant Strategist in his own warped perverted bigoted kind of way. He is well read and likes books, so I do not think his hobby is torture. Besides in the books, I remember he killed but he never tortured. ( Not even his father whom he hated the most )

My Lord Voldemort is Intelligent, Powerful, Domineering, Authoritative, passionate, Quick and hot tempered, Possessive, Dominating, an Alpha male in all his glory, but he is also implacable, ruthless, revengeful, cruel, violent, sadistic, in short He is EVIL.
 

Hermione Granger is my favorite character after Lord Voldemort. She is The Heroine, Intelligent, Logical, lovely and courageous, resourceful, the brightest Witch of her age, She is the BEST. Yet  I definitely despise when she is presented like one of those Wonder-women, or Xena, or Amazons, or whatever invincible being she is described with almost masculine traits some "endow" her with. (sigh) 

I was so disappointed by the Epilogue ! Ms Rowling I think wanted to evade the Cliché of the “Hero gets the girl” so she ended up making Hermione fall for Ronald Weasley !!  Yet Considering their TOTAL OPPOSITE Characters, I just cannot see the logic or rational behind her choice, or even the emotional Value. Although many would argue that “falling in love” does not rely in characters compatibility, I agree, but Love is not simply infatuation, crush or summer affair either.

This complex emotion starts in the head, yes in the head, the heart has nothing to do with it. like all emotions, they are cerebral, And who is more Cerebral than Hermione ( aside from Lord Voldemort ??).

Studies in neuroscience have involved chemicals that are present in the brain and might be involved when people experience love.

These chemicals include: nerve growth factor,  testosterone, estrogen, dopamine, norepinephrine, serotonin, oxytocin, and vasopressin.  Adequate brain levels of testosterone seem important for both human male and female sexual behavior. Dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin are more commonly found during the attraction phase of a relationship. Oxytocin and vasopressin seemed to be more closely linked to long term bonding and relationships characterized by strong attachments.

The chemicals triggered that are responsible for passionate love and long-term attachment love seem to be more particular to the activities in which both persons participate rather than to the nature of the specific people involved.  

So which activities Do both participate in ?? Aside from hunting Horocruxes and fighting LV ??? I could have accepted any other Weasley  but not Ronald. He’s so uncouth, brash, insensitive, insensible, and a bumbling idiot, with self-esteem issues, and only think of food, ( with no table manners ?? ) Quidditch, and chess ( God knows how Ms ROWLING decided He’s a good strategist and chess player, while being less than average in everything else, I just don’t get it ! ) He acts like a caveman and is not even aware of his rude attitude.

All right I Despise Ronald Weasley and also Ginevra and Molly. Those 3 I simply cannot tolerate. If I write any other story than the one I am writing nowadays, ( hopefully posting soon ) they will always be bashed and ridiculed. ( Subconsciously being revengeful because of my disappointment with the Epilogue)  ....yeah I know...I am behaving like a spoiled brat, and not an adult..
