    Am going to get back into fanfic writing. In the last few months, I've plunged back into this world & I'm impressed by several authors that have emerged in my absence.

    Plan to write something new in the next couple of weeks after my exam (a oneshot - something different to my other works) and will post it up once it's done. A DM/HG, probably set during Hogwarts postponed seventh year (will follow events of DH except with Fred's death, obviously.). Will likely be about 2,000 - 4,000 words.

    Will post details as soon as I have them.

    It's taken a little longer than expected (due to the exams I just completed), but I will be starting the aforementioned one shot very soon. Entitled 'The Gauntlet', it's a HG/DM that is set in the Eighth Year. It'll probably be up by next Sunday, Monday at the latest.

    I'm also looking to start posting over on the incredible Granger Enchanted & H&V, as well as making use of my (practically empty) LJ account.

    Am currently working on a my first fan fiction in over half a decade. It's a HG/DM/BZ and centres around a bet made during a poker game and its consequences for our favourite heroine. Will be posted here and on my new LJ account -- http://tha-phoenix.livejournal.com

    I have also changed my pen name from 'firebirdflame' to 'The Bird of Fire'.

    I completed my first fan fiction in over five years this morning and it is posted below. Entitled 'A Game, A Bet and a Dinner Party', it is a tale of a foolish boy, a well-meaning girl and a pair of Slytherins who know to seize their opportunities where they can find them.

    It is also posted over on my LJ.
