Several of my stories have pics of the characters to save time with describing them in the stories:

Greetings, all those who enter my silent, secluded lair. You may remember me from my failure that is Crimson Vengeance, from the days in which I was such a noob in regards to story telling. You may also remember from my Sexual Frustration, my step towards trying to improve, but ultimately became a mess I no longer wanted to be bothered with. Or you may remember me from my request I did for someone else, and ended up with too many forced moments as a result. Yep, that'd be me, Chronicle King, or as known as here, Bowser_Da_King. Why am I so willing to admit those stories of mine were and are failures in all lights of the words? Multiple reasons I assure you, but those stories are more like stepping stones towards my slow, gradual improvement. Everyone, no matter how talented you are, has their own fair share of duds before you ultimately get a story that works in one way or another. Your story, after so many failed attempts, may actually succeed in a few aspects, but ultimately falls short because of the grammar.
That is what I feel with my current story, "Just Bear with it". Due to the nature of this story, I actually have a more legit reason for OCs. Why? Because the story in and of itself takes place within my own personal, original comic I'm working on making on DeviantArt. Sure, it's influenced by a lot, and I mean A LOT of other works out there, but it still has it's own distinct style and feel with the choices I make regarding the setting I had in mind. Sure, the premise and setup may seem somewhat generic, but that's both part of the point and a secret I intend to keep regarding what stories are told within the comic itself. The story itself is generally towards a teenage audience, but no real use of swearing or direct scenes of blood, gore, or sexual content, but it's at least implied on more than a few occasions. As for Just Bear with it, it involves backstory for the comic as a whole regarding the title lead's parents and portions of their backstory as a couple after they had recently married, and what difficulties they had gone through to finally end up having sex for the first time. Not exactly what I would personally call a masterpiece since adult rated sexual stories are not exactly my thing, but it's just something I felt like typing up as to tie in backstory to my comic.
As for myself, during late August, my third girlfriend of two and a half years broke up with me, and my mind basically shut down very frequently between then and December. By the end of December, I decided to finally cut off and end all attempts for a romantic relationship with anybody else in my life, and decide to be completely celibate in my relationship with people, even if I still write or read stories in which romance is involved, although I do not believe simply being celibate and still reading romance stories have anything to do with each other. There's a difference between behaving a certain way than there is simply reading something that is most definitely not the way you behave yourself. As for why I still bother to write romance stories or even read them, it's because there's always going to be some form of longing for the past on my end, and that seeing my favorite characters from old shows in relationships together still brings comfort for my long since shattered heart of ice, and that simply reading these stories brings a lot of comfort to my own mind as it assures me I simply ended up being the unlucky person in my life in which I could not maintain any relationship in a romantic sense. It's as simple as that.
