    Diving earnestly into skies of midnight blue and black...

    Hello and greetings; you have stumbled into the world of MidnightxBluexBlack.

    Welcome.

    The author:

    Never really sure where I should start. I'm 20 years old, I have some of the thickest glasses known to man, and an affinity for penguins and pandas. Despite the fact that 16 is the age at which people normally start driving, I have stubbornly refused to get my driver's license. I don't think I've even touched a steering wheel in more than a year. My least favorite part about driving is parking lots. Too many things to worry about, too many things to hit. No fun for me. I pretend like I can speak Spanish relatively well, though I'm better at reading it (in other words, I'm fine as long as I can take my time). I can understand a little bit of Japanese, but I won't try to speak it right now even if someone paid me. I'm a university student. I study molecular biology with a minor in Spanish. Most of the time, though, I pretend that I don't have any outstanding obligations, shut myself in my room and geek out over whatever anime/manga I'm watching/reading at the time. As a side note, when I watch anime, I almost always only watch the Japanese versions. English dubs tend to make me sad. I love reading, but I don't have a lot of time for it anymore. I also adore listening to music (I play clarinet as well, so theoretically, I can also make my own music). I don't discriminate when it comes to language, though as a general rule, I don't like rap. I don't like to be bored.

    I don't sleep much. At night, anyway. Incidentally, it's about 5:31 am right now. If my roommate were awake, she would berate me into going to sleep. I often ignore such advice. Ironically, I love sleeping. It's so cozy. Once I start sleeping, I have a hard time waking up, which means that it's not unusual for me to sleep until three or four in the afternoon. I don't like doing that a whole lot, though, because then I feel like I've wasted my day and I end up staying up all night to make up for it. I get distracted easily and lose track of time.

    Recently, I've been wanting to try and write longer fics again, but I'm not really sure of how to go about doing it, or even where to start. This is why I pretty much only write one-shots now. They keep me focused, and I can get my point across. Also, I adore spell-check. My biggest pet peeve when reading a fic (aside from bad grammar) is silly spelling mistakes. As a side note, if you catch such things in my writing, please point them out to me so that I can fix them immediately.

    So, yeah. That's the more interesting parts of me, in a nutshell.
