    Hispanic-American married for 26 years, and father of two, who got into the Harry Potter universe just to see what the hype was about. So far I've stayed.
     
    My taste in literature is varied. As some may guess from my username, I love Kafka the best, but also like Thomas Mann, Knut Hamsun, Jane Austen and J.K. Rowling, of course.
     
    As far as movies are concerned, my favorite is "The Matrix", which surprisingly, is a philosophy movie masquerading as an action movie. Other favorites are: "Gattaca", "Run Lola Run" (Lola rennt), "Downfall" (Der Untergang) and "Pride and Prejudice" (with Keira Knightely).
     
    I've lived in four different countries and visited over fifteen. I speak English, Spanish and German. I've also contributed over eighty articles to the Spanish Wikipedia (everything worthwhile is already done in English).
     
    Greatest Thrill: Driving down the Autobahn early Sunday morning at 140 mph (225 kph) on the slow lane, and being passed as if I'm standing still.
     
    Greatest Accomplishment: (Besides staying married for 26 years, of course, ha, ha, ha!) I'm a three day Jeopardy champion... or a fourth day loser as my wife reminds me, in one of the international editions.
