    My name is Shelby, I'm 18, and i love to write! I write stories mostly about vampires. I tend to get horrible writer's block so bear with me... I would be completely dead without music and the other inspiration that I get from awesome authors like Anne Rice, J.K Rowling, Vivian Vande Velde, Stephanie Meyer, Kim Harrison, Scott Westerfeld (my fellow Texan), and countless others. I have an incredible obsession with vampires! And NO!!!!! It did not stem from having read Twilight! I initially loved the book and I read it before it got really big. And then the growing fan-base kind of ruined it for me :( . My obsession with vampires began when I saw Interview with the Vampire at an inappropriately young age XD. Then I got my hands on Anne Rise's books when I was thirteen and I've been in love with the blood-sucking creatures ever since! My current obsession, however, would have to be The Hollows. I just can't get enough of Big Al and Trent Kalamack. *girly sigh* They're just so BAD!
