    I'm a middle-aged, professional writer of non-fiction with a fiction hobby.

    I like to read and write stories for and about grown-ups; we heard quite enough about the adolescents in the books.

    I love to write McGonagall. Rowling gave us just enough about her to intrigue me but left the juicy details to the reader's (and fanfic writer's!) imagination. Being dull and unimaginative, I tend to pair her with that git Dumbledore, but the poor thing doesn't seem to get much joy out of it. (I sighed a bit of relief on Minerva's behalf when Rowling told us, essentially, that he's just an old queen with bad taste.) I also like the McGonagall/Snape pairing quite a lot. Tall, dark, and snarky is a treat my version of Minerva can't seem to resist. I like to read femslashy Minerva stories (she's too awesome to keep herself for just one gender), but I've only written a few myself. I generally try to ignore that Pottermore unpleasantness. If it wasn't in the books, it ain't canon, sez I.

    The fics I write may contain adult themes, and I will always warn for non-con, graphic violence, bestiality, incest, or underage sex. I don't warn for homosexual relationships or sex, or for threesomes/moresomes, unless they contain one of the aforementioned elements.
