Given the purging going on right now on FFnet, I'm starting to post my fics in this site.

Years ago, I posted some chapters of my first fic here, The Black Heir, but I've just seen that the format has gone all wonky, so better not look at it yet, lol! 

I'll be fixing that as soon as I can, but it will take a long while because I will first start by posting my newest HP fic, Twist of Fate, and then I'll work my way back, eventually reposting The Black Heir and Vindico Atrum.

Now, a bit about myself... I'm female, Argentinian, so my first language isn't English, though I prefer to read and write in English. Got hooked on Harry Potter fan fiction a couple of years ago and I started writing my own fic when I couldn't find anymore HPLV stories to read. I have no aspirations to become a writer, it's only a hobby.

My favorite pairings are Harry with any Slytherin, with Voldemort or Lucius Malfoy preferably. Though, finding good fics with those pairings is a hard task. I also like Harry with Snape or Draco. Hate to see him with Ginny or Hermione. My favorite fics are AU, where Harry is more interesting than in the original books. I like to see him with some brains and powers, not just a good boy who follows Dumbledore's lead blindly. I like fics which start from the beginning and give Harry's life a different twist, may it be that he's adopted by someone or gets into Slytherin or turns dark. I love fics that are written from the Dark side's point of view, the dark characters are much more interesting in my opinion. I love it when Snape gets to be his father figure or even Voldemort, though I prefer Voldemort for a good angst-ridden pairing. Besides Harry, I have also read good fics with Hermione as the main character, but not being a goody-goody two shoes, but a witch with power and preferably paired with a dark wizard.

HP fics:

At Fanfiction.net: those by Lightning on the Wave, especially. Though Harry opposes Voldemort in those fics, they are so well written, original and full of twists and complicated plot, that they blew my mind away. So if you haven't read the fics, I highly recommend them. Her series is the best I've ever read and they're truly EPIC.

Another great author is Lomonaaeren. She's an amazingly prolific writer, all her stories are great, with very original plots, and her characterizations are fabulous, very IC and realistic. Check out her stories and you won't regret it!

Oh, and certainly Dark Cyan Star / Epic Solemnity, she has writen a couple of very good HPLV fics -especially Death of Today and Sleeping Somewhere Cold- but my favorites are two of her old fics, with Harry/Fenrir Greyback pairings. She was a pioneer in this, one of the first ones to write this pairing, and they're original, with many lovely, cute scenes when the two meet and get to know each other, and with nice plot twist later on. I certainly recomend them; you can find them in her yahoo group, and the link to that can be found in her author's profile as Dark Cyan Star, it's her homepage.

Vorabiza at Hpfandom, especially her fic Secrets, which is one of the best post-HBP fics out there, HPDM, very original and a truly delightful treasure.

LdDurharm at Skyehawke, with the fic Indago and its sequel, by far the best HPDM creature fic I've ever read. At that archive too, Maeglin Yedi, with the fics Semblance of Peace and The Soul Adores, which are HP/TMR & HP/LV.

Mangas/Animes, so far: Death Note, Haru Wo Daiteita, Viewfinder, Ai no Kusabi, Yami no Matsuei & Mirage of Blaze. I'm still kind of a newbie when it comes to mangas, I haven't read too many so that's all I can put in there for the moment, but Death Note and Mirage of Blaze, especially, blew my mind away.

Established authors: Frank Herbert, Orson Scott Card, Ursula LeGuin, Isaac Asimov, George RR Martin, Arthur C. Clarke, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Anne Rice, and funnily enough, Tolstoi predominantly among the classics. I tend to enjoy reading sci-fi, fantasy or historical novels, mostly, as evident given my fav authors, yet from time to time I feel an urge to grab a classic when I'm in a patient mood, and I enjoy them just as much. What can I say, I have an eclectic taste when it comes to books, as I'm sure happens to many -grins-.Well, that's it for the time being. Love reviews, so write one if you have the time!

None of my stories, no matter how much time has passed since the last update, are abandoned. If I ever decide to abandon a fic -and I hope it never happens- then I'll let you know right in this space.

Poll Results

Final pairing for Orion in the Vindico Atrum fic: the votes for Orion/Voldemort and Orion/Arian pretty much came to a tie, though at least it became clear that Lezander and Draco were not preferred for Orion in the end, so thanks for those who put in their two cents regarding this matter.

Eventual pairing for Harry in the Altered Times fic: Voldemort won the contest, followed by Lucius Malfoy and Rodolphus Lestrange, so expect Harry to become involved in someway with these wizards.

Which fic should be updated: Vindico Atrum won with 50% of the votes, followed by Twist of Fate (28%), Altered Times (13%), The Avenger (8%).

In which House should Harry Riddle be sorted, in the Twist of Fate fic: Slytherin House won (71%), followed by Ravenclaw (17%), Gryffindor (7%), and Hufflepuff (2%).
