All artists live on feedback, and I am no exception. ^^ UPDATE SCHEDULE (last change 06/01/2011): I've returned to writing Code Geass fanfiction, at least for the time being. The goal is a new chapter at some point every Sunday. For details each week, check my blog. :) A few words about my writing... I'm a hopeless romantic, and so I try to concentrate on the emotional and romantic aspects of characters' interactions. I also don't write too many details of the sex, for a couple of reasons: Firstly, there are only so many words in the English language to describe various sex acts, and so once you've read a dozen explicit fanfics, you've read them all. No offense to any other authors on this site or elsewhere, of course. It's just that when your palette is limited to only a relative handful of colors, all your pictures are going to start to look alike after a while. I find I can achieve greater variety and originality with romance than with straight sex. Secondly, I think that what you infer is sexier than what is explicitly told to you. When I ask you to "fill in the blanks," so to speak, about the sticky details of a sexual encounter, it's going to come out sexier for you than if I spelled out exactly what happens when and how. What turns me on is likely not precisely what turns you on. I hope that this will make my stories appeal to a broader range of people. Thirdly, if I try to write a sexual encounter in too much detail, I feel like I'm somehow invading the characters' privacy. I know that sounds really weird, but it's true. I have a great respect for the characters I write, all the more so if I didn't create them in the first place. (Yes, I have original stories and characters of my own. They are published elsewhere.) In any case, to delve too deeply into an intimate encounter between characters just feels wrong to me, so I don't do it. As far as me personally, let's just say that I'm a 26 year old guy who spends at least 80% of his waking life staring at either a book or a monitor of some sort. I live on Mountain Dew and ibuprofen. I'm always looking for more alpha readers (people to glance over early drafts and give me their general impressions). So if you want a chance to see sneak previews of chapters, catch me on AIM!
