    I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I find there is nothing worse than discovering a story you're really enjoying, only to realise it hasn't been finished yet. Therefore I will never publish a story unless it is 100% finished. Although, I may consider sequels if the demand is high enough. I don't handle criticism very well, even if it is constructive, so before you leave me a review that isn't positive, please keep in mind that I work really hard for a long time on all my stories, to make sure they are exactly how I want them to be. I have my reasons for the way I write things, and don't like to be questioned on my choices. And now... MISTRESS MAYHEM'S GUIDE TO WRITING A GOOD HARRY/DRACO FANFICTION STORY... While seemingly cliché and overused, they are simply what is needed for a good Harry/Draco story. SETTINGS: * Quidditch locker rooms (either Gryffindor or Slytherin works fine) * Seventh floor bathroom * Prefect’s bathroom * Room of Requirement * Quidditch Pitch (night-time only) * Random unused or abandoned classrooms * Broom cupboards or random closets in the hallways * Astronomy Tower GENERAL RULES: * Draco is insanely undone by the sound of Harry speaking Parseltongue * One of the boys is the wild dominant one, while the other is a complete wanton slut who has no control over his desires and lets the other do anything to him * A good amount of kink (even something as simple as tying up or blindfolding) is always good * Slytherin school ties should be used if tying up is to be done * It may just be my personal preference, but in my opinion it’s always good if you can get Blaise Zabini involved * Exhibitionism/Voyeurism works wonders * It seems to be the norm for Hermione to be incessantly annoying and nosy, where you want to hurt her every time she speaks. * Ron is usually freaked out at learning Harry’s sexuality, although it is not uncommon for him to be accepting (particularly as the twins are often gay themselves). SITUATIONS: * Night-time detentions (scrubbing floors or cauldrons, especially in the Potions classroom, always seem to be most popular. No magic, of course) where fights may break out and turn into something more. Detentions are usually purposely sought after afterwards in order for private time together. * Post-Quidditch match anger-turned-lust * Either one or both have been in love with the other since day one. In Draco’s case, he’s had to deny it and pretend otherwise for fear of Daddy. Harry just never notices until he’s confronted with a situation. Then suddenly he’s in love. * It starts out as a purely sexual relationship, to either gain experience, or to release sexual tension. Eventually love develops. Personally, I prefer this over the sudden love scenario. * There’s a sadist/masochist thing happening, and they just keep fighting because it’s so good. Eventually turns sexual. Love may or may not develop. If it does, the sex had better still remain kinky! * Bets. Bets are always good seeing as they are magical and have to be honoured! * I Never or Truth or Dare as a big House Unity party where certain facts come into the air. Work best if Veriterserum and/or Firewhiskey is involved.
