Update as of January 28, 2013

I'm not going to spend any more time writing out the sob story of my life to any readers I still have left in the Naruto fandom. For once, suffice to say that life has gotten out of control for me. I never did manage to get my files transferred off of the computer I broke back in November of 2011, which means I still don't have the back ups of any of my Naruto stories, any of the planning files/pre-writing I had written for them, or any of the in progress chapters I'd been writing. Apparently not one to learn from past mistakes, I never backed up any of my writing when I bought the new computer either, and the 12+ chapters of pre-writing/planning I had written up for 'Sane' were lost as well when the new computer got a virus. Go figure, huh? As it stands, I'm not even up to date on Naruto anymore (the last episode I remember watching was when Naruto and Yamato were in the temple on the turtle-island with Bee, where Bee was teaching Naruto to control the Kyuubi. I don't distinctly remember the last manga chapter I read but it was whatever came out around the same time as that episode. I think it was actually right around the time Sasuke found out Itachi had been resurrected via edo-tensei.) so I wouldn't really even trust myself to continue writing Naruto fan fiction and keep all the characters in character anymore. I am still interested in Naruto. I keep meaning to get back up to date with it, but never seem to find the time. I am still hoping to eventually get my files transferred so I can at least pick up where I left off on the older stories, because I do still adore those stories and think about them often.

For now, the stories will be left up, with this bio acting as a sort of blanket announcement that all of my Naruto stories are on indefinite hiatus. You guys know I've never wanted to be one of those authors who abandoned their stories. It was always my biggest fear. I still don't want to do that, and I'm going to try my hardest to eventually continue them. My readers in the Naruto fandom always have and always will mean so much to me, especially the user Garmiet and the lovely anon who always signs as Jen. Both of you were and undoubtedly still are such beautiful reviewers. You asked me questions I had never even considered, pointed out things that didn't make sense to the readers the way they made sense in my head, and challenged me to better my writing and fix mistakes I'd never realized I'd made. I can never thank the two of you enough for how much you helped me throughout my journey here on AFF, and I sincerely hope that I will see your names again when I do return. :)

In the meantime, I've been dabbling in writing for the Supernatural and Merlin fandoms, but I've been avoiding writing any multi-chapter fics in either of these fandoms or any other fandom for fear of reenacting what has happened to me here in the Naruto fandom. For now, I'm content, but I do still long for the days I was active in the Naruto fiction community and I hope to return to that status at some point in the (preferably near) future. :)
