    This is she-who-is-Laryna6 on lj, ff.net, mediaminer, yahoo, and so on. I write Yu-gi-oh and Devil May Cry mainly, and am now posting my fics here too, the R and NC-17 ones, at least. I hope my horrible attempts at lemons don't... well, they're not very graphic, so they probably won't scar you for life. Watch out for As The Trumpets Sound, though. Updatey thingy: Hmm... Doing some Megaman now, Digital Devil Saga, etc. & being bad about cross-posting/posting at all. I have a lot of stuff on the low side of adult (as well as the non-adult stuff) at fanfiction.net. & what's my userid there? Laryna6. Hmm... I have Asperger Syndrome, look it up, although the wikipedia article was highly offensive last I checked. Apparently it's become a trendy diagnosis, although anyone into it because it's trendy clearly does not have the syndrome. We don't do trendy. My reaction to learning about the syndrome was, "Oh, that explains it." I haven't even bothered with going through the rigamarole involved in getting the sheet of paper or whatever for a formal diagnosis because I'm good enough at handling it I don't need any of the disability privileges and such. At least not the ones that aren't basic enough to be rubberstamped by people who know what they're doing after meeting me & seeing my records. I got a single at college because if I'd had a roommate they would have driven me insane. The main symptom, really, is miscommunication. From my perspective, a lot of conversations go like this: Me: The sky is blue, not red. Person: Why are you saying the sky is red? Me: No, I said it was not red. Person: It's obviously blue, because... Me: You know, you might want to replace your tinfoil hat. You're picking up those transmissions from Radio Venus again. ...only I'm usually too polite to say the last part. Usually. If you've played DDS you know Gale. He's logical. He's attempting to use logic to figure out, over the course of a few days/weeks, something that the entire human race has been trying and failing to figure out logically for millennia. Good luck with that. The syndrome's caused by too many of the genes for logical intelligence. You start trying to figure out people logically, and that doesn't work. My advice to anyone with the syndrome who reads this is to give up, just accept the fact you're surounded by nutcases, and just do as the Romans do.
