    Author's Notes for The Eternal One Ever read a fic so good it becomes more real to you than actual cannon? Ever want to write fanfiction about a piece of fanfiction? That's where this story has its beginnings. I'm going back now that it's diverged so much from my inspiration and changing things to make it less noticible, but certain situations within the fic exist in my mind which are not cannon. These are: 1. Yohji and Aya's relationship 2. Shuldig's initial obsession with Aya 3. Aya being a catalyst 4. Ken and Omi's budding relationship These situations were in a fic written by the talented Nekojita, and that's where I took my inspiration from for the Weiss side of Eternal One. Most things to do with Weiss can probably trace their roots to her mind. The Kenshin stuff, on the other hand, are my ideas. I don't read Kenshin fanfiction for a variety of reasons, the foremost one being that I don't like any of the pairings. (I like Kenshin/Kaoru and Kenshin/Tomoe, but I'm not interested in reading about it.) I did, however, get the Kenshin ideas from the movies "Reflections" and "Trust and Betrayel." If you haven't seen those, you really should. They're beautiful. I decided to put this fic in the Weiss section because I decided that more people who love Weiss would recognize Rurouni Kenshin than Kenshin fans would recognize Weiss. And, if someone is unfamiliar with RuroKen, there is enough background information to keep him or her from getting lost, which is not the case in reverse. There will eventually be a third crossover in this, but that will be kept a secret for now. Rating for language, sexual situations, character abuse, violence, limes and eventually lemons Eternal One contains many yaoi pairings. If this or any of the above offends you then don't read it.
