    They call me InuGrrrl, the Notorious One. I've been penning InuYasha fan-fiction for close to three years and I still love it. I've won lots of awards, and have made a little name for myself with my angsty, citrus-filled fiction, but that isn't hardly important. What IS important is that I'm a major supporter of the InuYasha/Kagome pairing and I like to encourage writers of all genres and levels to write their bliss! There are too many "bullies" in this fandom making it their business to decide who should and should not be able to "make it" as an author and that's really petty. Fandom is for everyone, whether you actively participate or watch from the sidelines. No one owns it, and no one can tell anyone else whether they can be a part of it. With that said, I tell anyone with an itch to scratch, please, write your heart out and draw your visions. It doesn't matter if you don't have great grammar or spelling or line art; those are things that can be worked on. Don't allow that (or any self-proclaimed "authority") to tell you that you can't. Don't let any award guild or lame-ass clique validate you. Be who you are and write or draw what makes you happy. EVERYTHING has an audience. Find yours. :) For my fellow I/K lovers, I invite you to join my fiction archive, Eternal Destiny (www.ik-eternal.net). We exclusively cater to InuYasha/Kagome fans and only allow fiction dominated by those characters. At our site there is no sifting through pairings you hate; everything is I/K, either separate or alone. We also have a fanart gallery for those that want to display their art, and we hand out awards a few times a year. We're still young, a little over a year old, but we're growing and having a great time while we do it! So feel free to come down; everyone is welcome. ^_^ Ciao, Bellas!
