I shouldn't have to explain myself with this, but I will. I've been asked why I so often depict the Tenth Doctor as being a "constant victim." Well, let's see. Yes, he saves the universe, he's a hero and all that. BUT. Ten is a major mess emotionally, at least in the way that I view him. And he's obviously NOT some brawny muscle-bound hero-type. LOOK at him. He's thin and fragile and not the most physically strong person in the world. That's the way that *I* see him, and the way that *I* choose to depict him. I don't criticize people who love portraying him as nothing more than the Master's sex slave, or as Jack's fuck buddy. So don't criticize the fact that I'm portraying him as someone who's been through a LOT of abuse that's made him emotionally vulnerable. If you don't like how I write the Tenth Doctor -- then don't read my fanfic.
