In RL, I'm getting MAs in both English and German literature and will in fact be writing my thesis on Tolkien. Despite my geeky academic love for all things Tolkien, I have been told that my fiction is making the professor turn in his grave, as I like to explore 'heretic' topics like bdsm or mpreg. I'm also utterly obsessed with Glorfindel. While Tolkien fandom is my One True Love, I also read fanfic in many other fandoms like HP, and every now and then I am tempted to write a story in smaller, literary fandoms. I'm an avid reader of fantasy novels, especially those that also feature m/m pairings like the books of Ellen Kushner, Fiona Patton, Judith Tarr, Jacqueline Carey or Lynn Flewelling.
