I write what I want, when it feels right. I'm usually inspired by whatever I'm doing. I let an idea percolate in my head until I get a mostly complete plot, from A to B. I flesh out my characters stories, figure out their descriptions and details, then let them run. I've found that the simplest of scenes are the hardest for me, so I hope to improve on that.
I write everything from PG to XXX and my genre's can include sci-fi, fantasy, romance, dark anything (though I try to keep it light-hearted.)
My erotic romance inspiration comes mainly from my wife. I'll leave it to your imaginations how she does that.
In full disclosure, I do use AI as a tool to aid in my writing. Meaning I come up with the complex plot and use AI to help me with word choices. I consider myself more of a story-teller than a writer, or more of a store teller who shares stories through writing. I want to reiterate that the plots and details are entirely my own. The twists, the angst, trials and triumphs are entirely of my creation.
My view on AI is that it is a tool to AID in writing, best used to perform tasks that the writer could do but takes time they otherwise wouldn't have, such as looking up a thesaurus for word choices, or historical research, or language patterns.In other words, I use AI to help bring the quality of the writing up to the point where I can share my stories with the world.
