You have to read it to understand, very enjoyable. 

Set in a modern age this story incorporates the characters from Dragon Age 2 quite well. Keeping their personalities while taking away their 'cannon' world. Though the story differs from most others, not only in the day and age, but also in the character progression I find it very interesting to read as the characters have been thought out instead of taking the simple pre rendered backstory and adding nothing to it. I enjoy this story and cannot wait to continue reading it.

This story follows the life of Marian Hawke as she struggles to find love and balance her thoughts after her life has been shattered by the blight. It is well written, detailed and gives a good insight into the world of Dragon age 2. And while some parts may not be Cannon, they add well to the stories development. I highly reccomend this story to anyone looking for a good journey with a fleshed out main character who doesn't fall flat.
