Hello, Kereliah here. I'm female, I'm 21 years old, and I'm in my senior year of college. Various fandoms I've written for/become obsessed with/courted briefly and then dropped like a hot potato include Avatar: The Last Airbender, Chobits (the manga, not the anime), Excel Saga (the anime, not the manga), Inu-Yasha, Samurai Champloo, Azumanga Daioh, Invader Zim and Ai no Kusabi. Currently trying to get excited about Legend of Korra, despite the fact that EVERYONE I'VE EVER KNOWN AND LOVED IS OLD AND/OR DEAD and apparently jazz is now a thing. >_>;
I don't read a lot of fanfiction, which is why I don't have much recommended reading, but there are two authors/stories I can pimp like a high-class hooker: Laura Bryannan, who writes for Samurai Champloo, and Sodomquake, who writes for a number of fandoms including ATLA. Both are admirably prolific, and both wrote epic-length fanfics that hooked me completely. Specifically, Sodomquake's Float (http://sodomquake.livejournal.com/163872.html, Jetko, MA), and basically everything Laura Bryannan's ever written for Samurai Champloo (http://www.homestar.org/bryannan/champloo/, Jin/Mugen/Fuu, MA).
