I am 52, married, mother of a 17 year-old girl. I have a Bachelors in Medieval and Renaissance Studies with a minor in classical studies. What this means is that I'm a blatant history geek with grounding in all four forms of English (Modern, Shakespearean, Middle, and Old) as well as Latin, Greek and German(don't ask me to translate - it's been 30 years...). I'm also an accomplished singer, singing as a first soprano with the Indianapolis Women's Chorus - although I have a 4 1/2 octave range when I'm warmed up.
