Hello Everyone. I am a novice author and I am currently working on my very first Fantasy novel, Kelvrae's Kidnapping. I am actually a self-published author and I chose Self-publishing because too many traditional publishers want outrageous amounts of money for you to publish and they want you to surrender almost all of your rights to your work, which includes your say over what the book cover looks like and the amount of royalties you get for any copies that manage to sell. I retained all of my rights to my work, have full control of what the book cover looks like, full control over the price of my books, and retain all of the royalties earned.
