An avid reader (since 2009) and reviewer of Naruto-fiction and originals (mainly). I'm a picky reader but my list of rec.reading is quite long. I keep on looking for (and finding!) some interesting and original (sometimes) stories. A good story should hurt and hit home, I believe. So I keep hurting and hitting myself :)
As a reviewer, I'm aware of the subjectivity of my opinions. Not meaning to hurt anyone's feelings, I state what I think of a story, what I liked or not.. that's it. Yes, the author knows best : ) but it's the reader who gets a taste of the final result. With so many AFF authors saying they're all for concrit or reasoned criticism etc., I feel I'm doing the right thing. This year I joined AFF Reviewers' Association.
Keep your stories going the way you like and want them to be. Be good to us, too :)
