Hey, this is Aeronwy here. Not much to say about me, so I'll just get down to the fanfiction. I pretty much like every and all types of SLASH fanfiction. But that's it. Only slash. Ya, I know. Boring, but whatever. I'm a yaoi fangirl at heart. I do, however, absolutely abhor a certain few genres of slash, and will never read and NEVER write any of it, so don't even think of asking :/ 1. M-PREG: Boys don't get pregnant. Period. Besides, why would I want to read about an overly feminine, hormone crazed, bitchy male character I like, when I can read het? Exactly. Although, if there is no warning in the summary and I have already invested quite a few chapters, I'll suck it up and finish reading. 2. SONGFICS: Dunno why, but I just can't stand them :/ If done properly, however, I can tolerate them. But I usually don't particularly like them. 3. FIRST PERSON: It reminds me of Twilight. And then I have to vomit. 4. REALLY OOC: Sometimes people surprise me how whacked-out they can make a character. Like, if Draco suddenly started to skip through the halls of Hogwarts and apologized for truly accidently tripping Harry. It's just creepy. I don't like it. 5. BAD GRAMMAR: As an aspiring English teacher, I can't properly express in words how much I absolutely detest bad grammar/spelling. The occasional typo or mistake is fine, but if I need to think about what the author is trying to say while plowing through a difficult fic, I don't care how hot the smex scenes are and how awesome the plot is, I can't read it. Fanfiction shouldn't be homework :/ ANYWAY, I finally caved and publicly posted my "first" fanfic. I've written plenty before, I just never shared them outside my slash obsessed friends. So, be kind? Maybe? Oh, and I also caved when someone suggested I do one of those 'put your iPod on shuffle and assign a pairing to them' challenge-thingies.
