I like to write. I credit the Harry Potter fandom with getting me back into the practice. I have a bit of a twisted imagination. My fics concentrate on the sexual and the psychological. Characters are fun to play with, but I still want the developments of each character arc to arise out of known traits. I rarely, if ever, read a story that doesn't include Harry as a main character. He's easily my favorite out of the series. Hence, all of the stories I've written in this fandom are centered around him. I'm not that focused on specific pairings, although I do like Harry with Luna, Ginny, Hermione, or Ron (I have a special place in my heart for triolove). Usually, the good characters who are more his peers and who have a vested interest in keeping him happy/healthy. I can easily see two characters getting together, however, if the author takes the time to make it believable. That being said, the most maligned letter combination in the world of 'ships are H and D. Ugh. Draco is a shit and doesn't deserve Harry. I'd rather they stay hating each other, thank you. I like to read and write fics that are disturbing in nature. In many cases, the more abuse dumped on my hero, the better. I love to see that little guy fight. Having the likes of Bella, Voldemort, Fenrir, and Lucius torture him in a variety of creative ways is a big draw. I would never buy Harry in any kind of romance with any of these characters, however. Fucked up, twisted relationship, sure. Biggest pet peeve: can·on 1    /ˈkænən/ Spelled[kan-uhn] –noun 1. an ecclesiastical rule or law enacted by a council or other competent authority and, in the Roman Catholic Church, approved by the pope. 2. the body of ecclesiastical law. 3. the body of rules, principles, or standards accepted as axiomatic and universally binding in a field of study or art: the neoclassical canon. 4. a fundamental principle or general rule: the canons of good behavior. 5. a standard; criterion: the canons of taste. 6. the books of the Bible recognized by any Christian church as genuine and inspired. 7. any officially recognized set of sacred books. 8. any comprehensive list of books within a field. 9. the works of an author that have been accepted as authentic: There are 37 plays in the Shakespeare canon. A cannon is a big mounted gun that goes boom. Learn the difference. I've currently got two WIPs on hiatus, Mad Snorkacks and Englishmen and Girls and Boys. Mad Snorkacks is due to be finished once Folie is wrapped up, but I couldn't give you a time line at this point. Chapter 9 of Folie is now up. I'm so intrigued by the discussion coming up in reviews. I hope to have the next update in a few weeks. Thanks so much for taking the time to leave reviews!
