Also visit www.camandcandi.com for info on my radio show... My name is Camden, and I'm 29 years old as of 2-11-08. So I can read whatever the heck I want. I used to be a Spander fanatic, this is true, but I haven't written or even read much in the Jossverse in a while. I've been all about the Harry Potter, pretty much since Half Blood Prince came out. That was about the time that I thought, "Hey, these characters are getting old enough to perv on." And it's been downhill from there. I wouldn't say that I have one OTP, but if I were forced to read only one thing for the rest of my life, I'd have to say I'd be a Trio shipper. It was my first love in Harry Potter, and I can't resist a good threesome. I'm also madly in love with AS/S and not just because of the name. I have a huge crush on the Scorpius Malfoy who lives in my head. Yes, I might be crazy. I also like Harry/Ron, and if I'm feeling particularly canon, I'll partake of some Harry/Ginny or Ron/Hermione. I don't like Harry/Hermione though. It just makes me miss Ron. :D And I've also been starting to get lured over to the dark side, aka Harry/Draco. Most people start with H/D and get to AS/S that way, but I've never been one for normalcy. But I'm, above all else, a writer. I mean, I actually am lucky enough to write for a living. I wish fanfic paid the bills, but alas... So I write more boring things for money. But this means that I'm extremely picky about what I read. I'm a writer's reader (or something), and I'll read most anything if it's truly well-written, regardless of ship. I, as a rule, like the lighter side. I'd much rather read a fluffy fic about Truth or Dare, even though I KNOW it's hopelessly lame, than anything involving force or pain or unpleasantness. While not actively bisexual (I'm married to a lovely man), I definitely still put myself in that category, and I tend to be sympathetic to that angle in my writing. I strive for realism of sexuality, and I believe in fluidity of sexuality and gender roles. I tend towards slash, but I also enjoy the aforementioned relationship of the trio and that unique dynamic, and I don't have a problem reading/writing het - unlike quite a few slashers. :D On the personal side, I live in Michigan (Land of the Rising Ennui), and I have a nineteen-month-old daughter named Waverly. I have a HUGE crush on Daniel Radcliffe. Like not just marriage-threatening, but life-threatening. As in I might expire from sheer joy if I ever got within twelve feet of him, which should make for an interesting time next October when I go to see him perform in Equus. Politically, I'm a left Libertarian, which means I basically support anyone's right to do anything, as long as it doesn't infringe on the rights of others. I believe in a free society. I'm a pretty militant atheist, but I'm not angry about it or anything. I'm just *really* into science, and I'm apparently too plebeian to wrap my head around too many concepts at once, so I stick with the realm of the scientific. My dream is to go back to school and get my Masters in Linguistic Anthropology, because I love words and language just that much. I'm actually planning on working on that soon - finally - after talking about it for years. Yay for school! Once that's done, I'm going to get my Ph.D. I have an insane drive to have people call me "doctor" but I couldn't have hacked medical school, so I'm going for academia instead. And in case you're curious (and aren't enough of a Buffy fan to know), my user name is taken from this quote: Giles: All right, I'll just jump in my time machine, go back to the twelfth century and ask the vampires to postpone their ancient prophecy for a few days while you take in dinner and a show. Buffy: Okay, at this point you're abusing sarcasm. From "Never Kill a Boy on the First Date." Anything else you want to know? Just ask. I'm an open book.
