My goal as a writer on AdultFanfiction.net is to combine plot/character development and shameless sex in equal quality and quantity. If you're a fan of trashy or bizarre sexual terminology, look elsewhere; regardless of disturbing sexual scenes in my stories, I hold firmly to using tasteful and honest language.

For material, I most frequently turn to video games or anime. Currently, I'm in the mood to write and read stories involving the Suikoden series, primarily because of the plentiful cast, willing to be exploited in so many ways.

As with many writers, I genuinely appreciate feedback (positive or not) to decide whether I should continue writing stories with certain styles, structures, characters, etc. Sometimes noticing a story has received 100 hits and 0 reviews makes me wonder: "Did the readers enjoy the story? Were they turned off at some point and hit the 'Back' button on their browser before finishing?"

My likes/dislikes as a reader and writer of adult fanfiction:
[ + ] Like: Artwork! It's always neat to see an artist take a scene from a story and give it visual form.
[ + ] Like: Third-person perspective. People generally write from the perspective in which they're most comfortable; but for whatever reason, I can't imagine knowing a character so well that you could write everything from their perspective (unless the character was a personal creation).
[ + ] Like: Believability. Most female virgins don't have 5 orgasms the first time they have sex. The lack of an orgasm doesn't make a sexual experience bad; it's refreshing to see the emotional/psychological side written into sex scenes.
[ + ] Like: Consistency. Probably linked to believability. Characters with inconsistent behavior just defy logic; I have trouble believing that, one minute, a girl is fighting desperately to save herself from being raped, and the next minute, she's helping her rapist out of a burning building because she's afraid he'll get hurt.
[ - ] Dislike: Crude language. I can't count the number of times I've found gorgeously-written pieces, only to come to a sex scene where the author uses "tits" and "cunt" to describe body parts. The language just deviates so much that it breaks the mood.
[ - ] Dislike: Cookie-cutter sex scenes. Admittedly, there's a stunning variety of fetishes, sexual positions, etc., but 80% of writers seem to copy some sort of formula when writing their sex scenes.
